About

The dual objective of the makemake website, that is “making room for art” – intended as a venue for cultural and artistic activities (make.spazio) – and “creating art in its spaces”, by promoting art crafted by emerging artists, which is open and accessible to all enthusiasts (make.arte), describe the project’s two synergic activities. A special creative feature was required to communicate these two activities visually in the company logo and presentation. Two elements, a picture in a frame or a space within a space, have become a symbol and the basis of the communication concept.

These two elements, centred in the name makemake, form the logo and also describe and link the two project activities.

In the vernissage invitation, they appear as a support both for providing information and for the work of the exhibiting artist.
